Dr. Hamamoto's Bio

Staci Hamamoto has been the associate optometrist at Lifetime Optometric since December 2006. She graduated from the University of California Berkeley, School of Optometry that same year.

Originally from Fresno, she graduated from Edison High School then attended UC Santa Barbara, earning a B.S. in biology. She worked as a lab assistant at the UCCE Kearney Agricultural Center in Parlier, before going to optometry school.

The optometry curriculum at Berkeley exposed her to a wide range of patients and eye conditions. She has the ability to conduct eye exams in Spanish, and has done volunteer eye screenings in Peru with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, an international non-profit organization.

She volunteers as a camp counselor, is active in her religious organization, and enjoys TV, photography, hiking, and traveling.
