Dr. Recalde has a strong passion for helping patients with dry eye disease, in part because she also personally experiences dry eye herself. Her journey began during her time at EYE-Q Vision Care and has continued at her own private practice, Lifetime Optometric, in Fresno. The office is located in the Atrium Building on 1111 East Herndon Avenue, #101, Fresno, CA 93720.
 

She offers a wide range of treatment options for dry eye, including vitamins, prescription medications, and advanced in-office procedures. Lifetime Optometric was the first practice in the area to provide LipiFlow, OptiLight Intense Pulsed Light Therapy, and Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT), expanding care options for patients seeking lasting relief. She enjoys bringing the latest technology to Fresno so patients don’t have to travel far for advanced eye care.

Her philosophy of care is simple: listen first, treat with compassion, and always focus on long-term vision health. She especially values building lasting relationships with patients and families in Fresno, many of whom she has cared for across multiple generations.

 

Dr. Recalde attended California State University, Fresno and earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees at the University of California, Berkeley, graduating with honors. She further advanced her training through a post-doctorate residency in ocular disease at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Fresno. Dedicated to lifelong learning, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and an active member of the Central California Optometric Society, California Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association.

Committed to giving back, Dr. Recalde regularly participates in free vision screenings both locally and abroad, serving communities in Peru, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

When she’s not in the office, Dr. Recalde enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.
